Ensure the tape measure is straight and record the measurement in millimetres (mm).

Measuring Hinge Hole Positions

Measuring Hinge Hole Positions

Measure from the top of the door to the centre of the top hinge hole, and from the bottom of the door to the center of the bottom hinge hole.
All hinge hole positions are measured to the centre point.

Frequently asked questions

Are your doors made from one piece of MDF?

Yes. Every door is CNC machined from a single sheet of Finsa Hidrofugo MR MDF. There are no joints, rails, stiles, or glued components.

Why choose one-piece MDF over five-piece MDF?

One-piece doors eliminate joint lines telegraphing through paint, reduce movement, and give a more consistent finish over time.

Is MR MDF suitable for kitchens?

Yes. Finsa Hidrofugo MR MDF is moisture resistant, dimensionally stable, and specifically suited to kitchen and utility environments.

Do the doors come painted?

Doors can be supplied primed or raw unprimed as standard, ready for painting. We currently do not offer a paint service, allowing you full flexibility to finish the doors to your exact specification and achieve the best possible result.

Are the doors made to order?

Yes. Every door is made to order to your exact sizes, ensuring consistency across all your cabinatry.

Can you match existing doors?

We can closely match most shaker and panel styles. Exact matches depend on the original construction and profiles used.

What if I measure incorrectly?

All doors are made to order, so we recommend checking measurements carefully before ordering. We provide clear measuring guidance, and if you’re unsure, we’re happy to help before production starts.

Can I return made-to-order doors?

Because doors are manufactured to your exact sizes, made-to-order items are non-returnable unless there is a manufacturing defect or damage in transit.

How is shipping handled?

Orders are securely packaged and shipped via trusted couriers. You’ll receive tracking details once your order has been dispatched.

What if my order arrives damaged?

If your order arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours with photos of the packaging and items. We’ll resolve the issue quickly with a replacement where appropriate.

How long does my order take?

Manufacturing typically takes 5–7 working days. Once dispatched, delivery usually takes 3–4 working days, depending on location.
